Giloy (Tinospora Cordifolia) is one of the most versatile herb in Ayurveda. It has been rightly described as Amrita– Nectar in Ayurvedic texts. Giloy is a power house of antioxidants, which fight free-radicals, keep the body cells healthy and gets rid of diseases. Giloy helps remove toxins, purifies blood, and fights bacteria that cause diseases. Giloy helps get rid of recurrent fevers. Giloy is anti-pyretic in nature, it reduces signs and symptoms of several life threatening conditions like Dengue, Swine Flu and Malaria and is capable of tackling viruses.

Giloy helps to control high cholesterol level in the body by improving the metabolism and eliminating toxins from the body which are responsible for high cholesterol. This is due to its Deepan (appetizer), Pachan (digestive) nature and Rasayana (rejuvenating) properties.
